RP3 Data Council: What’s Happening on the Council and How Can I Contribute?

On Jan 23, the LONESTARP3 Data Council surfaced an initial slate of topics around existing data assets and pressing data needs to support research to drive practice and policy change. Join us for an introduction to the topics they identified and offer your feedback refine and prioritize those topics to best serve your region and partners and benefit others across the state.


NEW Data Set and Initial Analysis: Four-Day School Week Findings and Data Set.

The idea of a four-day school week has gained in popularity over the last decade for reasons ranging from alleviating budgetary issues, attracting teachers, and reducing student absences. This session will provide a landscape analysis of Texas school districts that have implemented a four-day school week. Additionally, the session will provide the group access to a publicly available dataset created by researchers at the University of Houston ERC to facilitate investigations on the nature and impact of the four-day school week for Texas teachers and students.
