Seeking Collaborators: Postsecondary Pursuits and Promise Programs
Denisa Gandara, College of Education, UT Austin
The goal of this session was to seek out partners for a future study to understand administrative burdens that hinder postsecondary educational attainment and how Promise programs can help. Learn about recent findings on tuition-free – or “Promise” programs – and explore how a framework of administrative burdens may help us understand structural barriers students face in pursuing higher education. Consider how you and your community partners might contribute to this emerging work.
